Chinese Human Rights Group Exposes US Human Rights Violations: "Crimes in the Middle East"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyunjung] A Chinese human rights organization has accused the United States of human rights violations, exposing that it "seriously violated international law."
On the 9th, China's state-run Xinhua News Agency reported that the China Society for Human Rights Studies (CSHRS) stated that a series of crimes committed by the United States in the Middle East and surrounding areas seriously violated international law.
The CSHRS report detailed the serious human rights violations committed by the United States in the Middle East and surrounding regions. The report focused on the organized nature of the U.S. human rights abuses, including the outbreak of war, civilian massacres, unilateral sanctions, and violations of the right to life and survival.
It also emphasized that the United States committed war crimes, crimes against humanity, arbitrary detention, torture and abuse, prisoner torture, and indiscriminate unilateral sanctions in the region.
The report further confirmed that the United States seriously infringed upon the fundamental human rights of people in the Middle East and other regions, causing permanent damage and irreversible losses to regional countries and peoples.
