This is a series of short stories first introduced by author Kim Dongsik, who made a huge impact on the Korean literary scene with his debut work, "Gray Human." It contains the chaotic episodes unfolding in a TV variety show based on the concept of a "Fallacy Battle." In the novel's TV program "Fallacy Speaking Contest," various participants appear each episode to spout their own fallacies. Although the fallacies are absurd?such as "We should prepare for the afterlife instead of old age," "Past lives exist in the future," and "There is a secret organization plotting humanity's destruction"?philosophical and profound themes emerge within, shaking our common sense. It raises questions on various issues such as humanity, art, death, and the environment, showcasing extreme imagination.
They thought it was too bothersome to examine and judge each human individually. So they simply poured humans onto Earth. Onto the conveyor belt called Earth. From "This World Is a Conveyor Belt"
Animals also become ghosts when they die. So I assert this: although we currently think humans are the top predators on Earth, in the end, we will become beasts. From "Have You Ever Seen an Animal Ghost?"
That's right. There is a world where you can only die if you want to. In a world where death is chosen voluntarily, death will become something very noble. From "This Place Is an Alien Resort"
