Dongyang Life Insurance Grants Up to 5 Days of Special Leave for Employees Preparing for Actuarial Exams
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Dongyang Life Insurance announced on the 29th that it will provide special leave to employees preparing to obtain the actuary qualification.
For the remaining subjects among the total five subjects of the second actuary exam, special leave of 3 to 5 days will be granted per subject. Previously, employees had to use personal leave or study after work to obtain the certification.
Dongyang Life Insurance is also proactive in refreshing its employees' moods. They hold brown bag meetings (informal discussions over lunch) and have opened 'Flower Classes' to allow employees to take a short break from work.
