Cha Women's Medical Research Institute Seoul Station Remodels Key Facilities for Customer Convenience
Expansion of Examination Rooms, Operating Rooms, and Recovery Rooms
Reducing Waiting Time and Improving Procedure Quality
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] Cha Women's Medical Research Institute Seoul Station announced on the 26th that it will remodel major internal facilities to reduce patient waiting times and increase convenience for visitors.
The existing blood collection laboratory and electrocardiogram room inside the hospital have been expanded and relocated to independent spaces and are currently in operation. With the separation of the laboratory spaces, internal congestion has decreased, and the blood collection laboratory now has a larger waiting area, reducing examination times.
In addition, the operating rooms, recovery rooms, and changing rooms are scheduled to be expanded by the end of September. With more operating and recovery rooms, waiting times are expected to be significantly reduced, and the quality of surgeries and procedures by medical staff is anticipated to improve. A world-class cryopreservation management system will also be additionally introduced in the biobank.
Director Yoon Tae-gi said, “We remodeled the facility to provide patients visiting for infertility treatment with a more comfortable environment and high-quality medical care and treatment. Since opening in 2016, we have been dedicated to preserving female fertility and treating infertility, and we will continue to do our best to ensure that Korea’s infertility treatment maintains its world-class status.”
