The Provincial Police Agency Foreign Affairs Advisory Council provided 20 fans worth 1 million KRW and 40 water park admission tickets worth 1.5 million KRW.
The beneficiaries were households selected from the provincial Multicultural Family Support Center and Migrant Center, including 20 low-income households such as recipients of government aid and 10 four-person households who had never been to large water play facilities like water parks.
Marriage immigrant woman Du○○○ said, "There are six people in my family, but we live with only two fans," adding, "My salary has decreased and fan prices have risen, so I couldn't afford to buy new ones, but I am really grateful for the support."
Another immigrant woman, Pam○○○, said, "The water park costs were too expensive, so I couldn't take my children," and added, "With the gifted admission tickets, our children will be going to a water park for the first time since they were born."
Park Jaegun, chairman of the Foreign Affairs Advisory Council, said, "I hope this helps everyone have a healthy and cool summer," and added, "We will listen carefully to the diverse voices of multicultural families and strive for multifaceted support activities."
