Changwon Special City Holds 'National Policy Proposal' Contest
Policy Ideas to Make Changwon the Northeast Asia Hub City
From the 19th, Anyone Can Propose Policies for Changwon City
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam will hold a "National Policy Proposal" contest for three weeks from the 19th to August 5th, reflecting public opinions in the operation of the 8th elected administration and the establishment of the 2023 work plan.
The city is hosting the contest to realize the "demand-oriented" administrative paradigm that has been consistently emphasized since the launch of the 8th elected administration.
The city plans to focus administrative efforts so that this contest can serve as a stepping stone for Changwon to make a great leap forward as a Northeast Asia hub city through "demand-customized" administration.
The contest theme is "Policies (Ideas) Leading Changwon's Great Leap as a Northeast Asia Hub City," and there are no specific restrictions related to the proposal fields.
Any citizen interested in Changwon can propose policies (ideas).
For fair and transparent evaluation, the screening will be conducted in three stages (preliminary eligibility screening, review by relevant departments, and evaluation by the Proposal Adoption Review Committee). The results will be posted on the city’s website and individually notified in September.
