Opening on the 27th, Hansan: Rising Dragon depicts the Battle of Hansan, where Admiral Yi Sun-sin and the Joseon navy unite with desperate strategy and courage to defend Joseon against the advancing Japanese forces five years before the Battle of Myeongnyang. The film is directed by Kim Han-min, who also directed the record-breaking Myeongnyang (2014).
