It was reported that Huh Chang-soo, Chairman of the Federation of Korean Industries, is also scheduled to visit. Shin Dong-bin, Chairman of Lotte Group, is known to be traveling directly to Japan to console former Prime Minister Abe's family and others.

Former Prime Minister Abe was shot and collapsed while campaigning in Nara City, Nara Prefecture, Japan, on the 8th. He was then transported to a hospital for treatment but passed away. A family funeral will be held in Japan on that day. Afterwards, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida will serve as the funeral committee chairman, and the Japanese government and the Liberal Democratic Party will jointly hold a funeral ceremony.
