[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Sumi] Lee Jae-myung, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, communicated with his supporters through his social networking service (SNS), which former co-emergency committee chair Park Ji-hyun found embarrassing.
On the 10th, former Chair Park wrote a post titled "It is not oppression and criticism, but violence and crime" on her Facebook.
She referred to messages exchanged by Lee on Twitter the previous day, criticizing, "It has been only a few hours since Lee sent a message saying I should not be oppressed, yet he posted to soothe upset passionate supporters."
Earlier, Lee had urged restraint regarding criticism directed at former Chair Park by some hardline supporters within the party. Lee said, "Criticism and oppression are not the language of the Democratic Party," and "Former Chair Park is an important asset of our party with great potential."
Later, in the early morning of the next day, Lee actively communicated with supporters on Twitter. When a supporter wrote, "My family joined the Democratic Party with 'Lee Jae-myung' as the recommender," Lee replied, "Just a little more to go." To the message, "I guess you turned on Twitter knowing we are very upset," Lee responded, "Because I sincerely love my colleagues who are moving together toward a better world."
On the 8th, Lee Jae-myung, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, posted on his Facebook asking for restraint regarding the recent online personal attacks by some supporters against former co-chair of the Democratic Party's Emergency Response Committee, Park Ji-hyun.

Former Chair Park expressed discomfort. She said, "Since the YouTuber's criminal incident yesterday, I have not been able to go home and am looking for a new place to move," adding, "I am really embarrassed about how to interpret that Twitter post." She continued, "I wondered if the post Lee put on Facebook yesterday was sincere."
She also questioned, "Lee said not to criticize and oppress, but is calling a child molester for giving a snack to a child 'criticism,' and is coming to the house and revealing the address just 'oppression'?" She urged Lee, "I hope you engage in politics that receive public support, not from a hardline fandom."
Meanwhile, former Chair Park is suffering from personal attacks by some hardline Democratic Party supporters. On the 8th, she revealed that a male YouTuber claiming to be a Democratic Party member from Dongjak-gap streamed for about an hour in front of her house.
