Hampyeong-gun Advances Safety Road Improvement Project on County Road No. 20, Sonbul Mokgyo Village Section
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong County in Jeonnam is set to actively proceed with the hazardous road improvement project for the Sonbul Mokgyo Village section of County Road No. 20.
On the 30th, the county announced that it has commenced the hazardous road improvement project (L=0.3km, B=8.5m) for the Sonbul Mokgyo Village section of County Road No. 20, which has a high risk of traffic accidents due to poor road alignment.
This section is a sharp curve road passing through Mokgyo Village, where frequent passage of agricultural machinery and vehicles occurs, and visibility is limited, making it a high-risk area for traffic accidents.
The county completed related administrative procedures such as detailed design and permits last year and began construction this month, aiming to complete the project by December this year.
Upon completion, the road alignment will be gently improved, and the road will be separated from the village, which is expected to prevent traffic accidents and create a safe walking environment.
