Yongin City Offers 'Generous Prizes' for Mission Tour at 63 Lifestyle Tourism Spots
[Asia Economy (Yongin) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province is holding an event where participants who complete a mission tour of 63 local lifestyle tourist spots can win 'generous prizes.'
Yongin City announced on the 19th that starting from the 1st of next month, it will launch the event "Challenge Yongin!! Lifestyle Tourism Mission Tour," where visitors to hidden tourist spots throughout daily life can receive abundant gifts.
This event is a project promoted by Yongin City in collaboration with the Yongin City Tourism Association, a non-profit organization, to promote lifestyle tourist spots that are easily accessible in everyday life.
For one year, visitors who visit 63 tourist spots in the city and collect 'Kkongalmon' will receive souvenirs based on their visit records. Kkongalmon can be obtained by visiting each tourist spot, taking a certification photo at a designated location, and uploading it to the challenge website that opens on the event start date. Kkongalmon is Yongin Tourism's representative character created in 2017.
Souvenirs include a variety of items such as camping tablecloths and eco-bags featuring the city's official character Joa-yong and the tourism character Kkongalmon, as well as cutlery sets, 3-fold automatic umbrellas, camping chairs, folding boxes, mini tables, and travel suitcases.
The main tourist spots are ▲ 37 locations in Cheoin-gu including Youth Kim Dae-geon Road, Seokpo Forest Park, and Yongin Central Market ▲ 17 locations in Giheung-gu including the Nam June Paik Art Center, Giheung Lake Park, and Bojeong-dong Cafe Street ▲ 9 locations including Suji Ecological Park, Simgok Seowon Confucian Academy, and Seok Ju-seon Memorial Museum.
