"Strengthening ESG Management" Hyundai Department Store Group Operates Regreen and Withream
Hyundai Department Store Group is operating the integrated group brands ‘Re.Green’ and ‘We.Dream’ to advance ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management. Through unified and consistent branding, the group aims to enhance trust in ESG management among its employees and customers, and based on this, establish mid- to long-term strategies to fulfill its corporate responsibility in creating a sustainable future.
The plan is to reorganize the eco-friendly activities and social contribution projects carried out by each affiliate under a single brand, thereby increasing awareness and trust in the group’s ESG management strategy among customers and employees. For the environmental sector, the brand and slogan have been set as ‘Re.Green’ and ‘Redrawing the Earth,’ respectively, to practice carbon-neutral management. The goal is to reduce annual carbon emissions by more than 60% compared to current levels by 2050.
In the social sector, the ‘We.Dream’ brand, which means ‘Growing the Future Dreams Together,’ will lead efforts to contribute to solving social issues such as eliminating welfare blind spots.
