Naver, Hiring Entry-Level Developers Underway
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Naver will begin recruiting new and intern developers starting from the 7th.
The distinctive feature of this developer recruitment is that prospective developers can choose a growth track that suits their situation, divided into two types: ‘Track Internship’ and ‘Track Open Recruitment’.
‘Track Internship’ is designed for prospective developers who have a clear area of interest, such as those with deep experience in a specific technical field, allowing them to select the organization and role to apply for. After passing the first and second interviews, successful candidates will undergo a 4-week internship, followed by an evaluation, and will join the company in September.
‘Track Open Recruitment,’ starting from the 17th, targets prospective developers interested in multiple technical fields. After joining, candidates attend an orientation session to choose their organization and role. Following the first and second interviews, final admission will be decided in October. Candidates can select the department and role that best fit them after attending briefings on various departments and roles within Naver. Successful applicants will go through an approximately 3-month online onboarding process immediately after joining to adapt to their work, and will begin performing their respective roles in their assigned departments from January next year.
Both tracks are open to anyone who is expected to graduate by February 2023 or has less than one year of work experience, and recruitment is conducted as an integrated process without distinction between the first and second half of the year.
