Incheon National University Selected for High School Education Contribution University Support Project for 6 Consecutive Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon National University has been selected for the government's High School Education Contribution University Support Project for six consecutive years.
Incheon National University announced on the 2nd that it secured 586 million KRW in national funding after being selected for the '2022 High School Education Contribution University Support Project.' Since 2017, the university has been selected for this project for six consecutive years, receiving a total of 3.5 billion KRW in national funding.
Universities selected for the High School Education Contribution University Support Project receive financial support from the Ministry of Education for two years, and if extended after a mid-term evaluation, they can receive support for up to three years.
Through this project, Incheon National University plans to provide customized college admission information programs tailored to students, parents, and teachers, as well as separate programs to reduce educational gaps for information-disadvantaged groups.
Additionally, the university intends to collaborate with the education office to promote the project, including college admission guidance, major and career exploration, and support for high school credit system classes.

Jo Hyunwoo, Director of Admissions, stated, "Being selected for six consecutive years is the result of fair and transparent college admission operations aligned with government policy directions and program planning for the establishment of new systems such as the high school credit system." He added, "We will actively collaborate with the education office and high schools to promote projects that contribute to government policies."
