Fire Breaks Out at Gusan-myeon Pier in Changwon City... Docked Patrol Boat Catches Fire
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The Changwon Maritime Police Station in Gyeongnam announced that a fire broke out at the pier in Annyeong Village, Gusan-myeon, Masanhappo-gu, Changwon City.
At around 11:54 a.m. on the 1st, a report was received that a fire had broken out on a 6-ton management vessel docked at the pier, and the maritime police dispatched a coastal rescue boat and rescue team.
Thirty-six firefighters and 12 firefighting vehicles and equipment were mobilized, and one nearby private fishing boat also participated in extinguishing the fire.
The fire was completely extinguished within 45 minutes, and there were no casualties as no one was on board the vessel.
