Jeonnam Police Holds Regular General Meeting of Green Mothers' Association
Communication Session for Creating a Child-Safe Jeonnam
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] On the 30th, the Jeonnam Police held the ‘2022 Green Mothers’ Association General Assembly’ at Namdo Maru of the Jeonnam Police Agency to establish a traffic culture that prioritizes children.
This general assembly was organized to elect new executives for 2022, encourage efforts made for children’s traffic safety, and strengthen mutual cooperation for the establishment of an advanced traffic culture.
Following former president Park Heerang, Park Eunsil of the Gwangyang Police Station was elected as the new president to lead the Green Mothers’ Association, and five new executives were appointed. They will serve for one year to promote children’s traffic safety.
On the day, Commissioner Park Jiyoung awarded appointment certificates and letters of appreciation to the association members and shared various opinions about their activities, emphasizing the need to unite efforts to make Jeonnam the safest region.

Meanwhile, the Green Mothers’ Association consists of 13,874 parents participating in 109 elementary schools across Jeonnam Province, continuously engaging in volunteer activities such as traffic guidance during school commutes and various traffic safety campaigns.
