Gyeonggi Medical Center Anseong Hospital Resumes Funeral Hall Operations After 2 Years and 3 Months
[Asia Economy (Anseong) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center Anseong Hospital will resume operating its funeral hall next month.
Anseong Hospital, which had suspended funeral hall operations after being designated as a COVID-19 dedicated hospital, announced on the 11th that it will resume funeral hall operations after 2 years and 3 months following the recent lifting of COVID-19 social distancing measures.
Following the normalization of emergency room operations on the 28th of last month, Anseong Hospital resumed operations of the integrated nursing care ward and health screening center on the 2nd.
As the only public hospital in the southwestern Gyeonggi region, Anseong Hospital has been fully committed to responding to COVID-19 since being designated as a COVID-19 infectious disease dedicated hospital in February 2020, operating COVID-19 patient admissions, life treatment centers, and both non-face-to-face home care and face-to-face outpatient clinics.
An official from Anseong Hospital stated, "We plan to normalize hospital operations and fulfill the role of a public medical institution at the pre-COVID-19 level," adding, "We will continue to recruit additional medical staff to provide better medical services."
