Pulmuone Danone's Activia Cup Yogurt 6 Varieties Obtain 'Carbon Footprint Measurement Certification'
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Pulmuone Danone announced on the 31st that six types of Activia cup yogurt have obtained the 'Carbon Footprint Measurement Certification' from the UK eco-friendly certification organization, Carbon Trust.
Carbon Trust is a non-profit organization established with the goal of achieving sustainable carbon neutrality. Since 2001, it has been conducting 'environmental footprint certification' projects for carbon, water, waste, and more, targeting companies and public institutions worldwide. The 'Carbon Footprint Measurement Certification' received by the six Activia cup yogurt products is a certification granted to products that calculate the total carbon emissions generated throughout all stages from manufacturing to disposal.
The certified products this time are Pulmuone Danone's three types of Activia spoonable yogurt (Plain, Strawberry, Peach) and three types of Activia plant-based yogurt (Peach, Pineapple, Blueberry). Pulmuone Danone plans to gradually expand the certified products and continue its eco-friendly management efforts based on this achievement.
