View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Yoo Eun-hye, Deputy Prime Minister for Social Affairs and Minister of Education, has assets totaling 164.74 million KRW, the lowest among cabinet members.
According to the 2022 regular public official asset change report disclosed on the 31st, Deputy Prime Minister Yoo's assets decreased by 1.022 million KRW compared to the previous year.
Yoo owns an apartment in Jungsan-dong, Ilsandong-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province under her name. The appraised value is 198 million KRW, down 2 million KRW from last year.
Her personal deposits amount to 122.85 million KRW, an increase of 13.37 million KRW from the previous year.
Jeong Jong-cheol, Vice Minister of Education, reported assets of 1.22673 billion KRW, an increase of 115.53 million KRW from the previous year.
Vice Minister Jeong owns an apartment in Eojin-dong, Sejong City, with an appraised value of 480 million KRW. His personal deposits (220.01 million KRW) and other assets increased compared to the previous year.
Lee Sang-won, Deputy Vice Minister of Education, reported assets totaling 1.09992 billion KRW, an increase of 61.13 million KRW.
Deputy Vice Minister Lee owns two commercial properties in Seohyeon-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province. The appraised values of the properties are 89.96 million KRW and 155.22 million KRW.
The highest asset holder among senior education officials is Lee Won-hee, President of Hankyung University. He reported a total of 11.04824 billion KRW, an increase of 1.17917 billion KRW from last year.
He owns a neighborhood living facility worth approximately 2.33 billion KRW in Yeongtong-dong, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi Province under his name. President Lee sold an apartment worth 1.55 billion KRW located in Iui-dong, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon.
