Hapcheon-gun Holds 12th Tuberculosis Prevention Day Campaign
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Hapcheon County Public Health Center in Gyeongnam conducted a campaign to widely raise awareness of the importance of tuberculosis prevention and management in commemoration of the "12th Tuberculosis Prevention Day."
About 10 people, including Hapcheon Public Health Center staff, participated in the campaign targeting visitors to the health center.
On this day, they provided guidance on the necessity of early tuberculosis screening, including ▲ getting a tuberculosis test once a year for those aged 65 and older ▲ getting a tuberculosis test if coughing for more than two weeks ▲ and a citizen participation SNS event.
To ensure that awareness of tuberculosis is not forgotten amid the COVID-19 situation, a citizen participation event is also being held. The tuberculosis event, which can be accessed through the Hapcheon County Public Health Center Instagram, will run until the 31st, and souvenirs will be given to those who answer correctly.
