Exchange Opens Recruitment for 2nd Cohort of University Student Derivatives Study Group 'FutureStar'
[Asia Economy Reporter Myunghwan Lee] The Korea Exchange announced on the 24th that it is recruiting the 2nd generation of the derivatives study group 'KRX Future Star' to enhance the understanding of derivatives among university students in the Busan area and to establish communication channels with the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z).
Future Star is the name of the derivatives study group, combining 'Future,' which has the double meaning of futures and the future, and 'Star,' meaning a star.
The 2nd generation of Future Star is open to study groups consisting of 3 to 4 students from universities located in Busan Metropolitan City. A total of 10 groups will be selected by evaluating the appropriateness of the study plan and the group's activity level.
The selected members will post their monthly derivatives study activities on their personal social networking services (SNS) and the Future Star cafe, and participate in exchange events and promotional activities.
The exchange will support participating students with textbook and activity expenses and reward 10 outstanding members each month. After the activities conclude, participants will receive certificates, and outstanding groups will be commended.

An exchange official stated, "Through Future Star activities, we expect effects such as enhancing the understanding of derivatives among university students in the Busan area, securing untact communication channels, and contributing to the establishment of Busan as a financial hub."
