Gyeonggi-do Publishes Local Tax Guidebook for Businesses... Distribution Starts on the 21st
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province has produced a local tax guidebook for businesses.
On the 21st, Gyeonggi Province announced that it has created the "2022 Local Tax Guidebook for Businesses," which provides information on local tax-related non-taxation and exemption systems for companies within the province.
Every year, the province has held "Visiting Local Tax Seminars" for local businesses, but due to difficulties in holding seminars since 2021 caused by COVID-19, it has instead produced and distributed a "business-customized" local tax guidebook.
This guidebook clearly organizes overall information related to local taxes, including ▲ how to file and pay local taxes ▲ application of heavy taxation by local tax item ▲ concepts and procedures of tax audits ▲ deferment of collection system ▲ local tax exemptions.
Additionally, it includes this year's changes to local tax-related amendments, non-taxation, exemption systems, and the latest authoritative interpretation cases.
The guidebook will be distributed to businesses within the province starting from the 21st of this month through local city and county tax departments, as well as associations of judicial scriveners and tax accountants.
