Financial Supervisory Service "Training Financial Education Specialists"... Expanding Training Programs
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] The Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) is expanding its training program for professional instructors to provide high-quality financial education.
According to the FSS on the 14th, the training courses for professional financial education instructors will be held on the 14th-15th and 28th-29th of next month. A total of 75 participants will learn financial knowledge, lesson plan preparation, and lecture techniques.
Starting this year, the FSS increased the annual capacity from 100 to 150 participants to expand participation. The eligibility criteria have also been relaxed from requiring over 10 years of experience at financial institutions or companies, or over 10 years of teaching experience, to allowing applicants with a combined total of 5 or more years of experience in these fields.

Those who complete more than 80% of the training can apply for the professional instructor certification exam. Once certified, professional instructors can work as financial education instructors in programs such as the ‘One Company One School Financial Education’ provided by financial companies.
