View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kum Bo-ryeong] On the 9th, in the by-election for the National Assembly member of Anseong, Gyeonggi Province, held alongside the 20th presidential election, Kim Hak-yong, the candidate from the People Power Party, was elected.
According to the Central Election Management Committee on the 10th, as of 1:45 AM, with 99.94% of the votes counted, candidate Kim was leading with 54.18% of the vote.
Candidate Kim had consecutively served three terms from the 18th to the 20th National Assembly representing Anseong, Gyeonggi Province.
Following him were independent candidate Lee Ki-young with 25.66% and Justice Party candidate Lee Joo-hyun with 20.15%.
