CEO Musk Sends 'Starlink' Terminals to Ukraine
President Zelensky: "Support in Words and Actions... Thankful"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] Volodymyr Zelensky, the President leading Ukraine's resistance against the Russian military invasion, expressed gratitude toward Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla. Musk has been providing support by supplying related equipment to connect the 'Starlink' satellite internet to Ukrainian citizens.
On the 6th, President Zelensky wrote on his official Twitter account, "I express my gratitude to Elon Musk, CEO. I appreciate his support for Ukraine through words and actions."
He added, "Next week, we will receive another Starlink system in a city that has been destroyed."
President Zelensky also conveyed his intention to carry out a 'space project' with Musk after the war ends. He explained on his Twitter, "We also discussed the possibilities of a space project," adding, "We will talk about it after the war."
CEO Musk is running the 'Starlink' project, which involves deploying tens of thousands of small satellites in low Earth orbit to provide high-speed internet service. He also founded 'SpaceX,' the world's first reusable rocket manufacturer, to launch satellites into space.
Meanwhile, on the 26th of last month, Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation, sent a tweet requesting help from CEO Musk.

Shortly after this tweet, CEO Musk reportedly sent trucks loaded with Starlink terminals to Ukraine. On the 1st, Minister Fedorov posted a photo on Twitter along with a message stating that the terminals had arrived in Ukraine.
However, CEO Musk also cautioned Ukrainians using Starlink.
