Daegu University Selected for Regional Community Integrated Care Support Project for 3 Consecutive Years... Secures 95 Million KRW in Subsidies
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Daegu University has been selected as the leading institution for the Community Integrated Care Pilot Project for three consecutive years.
The Rehabilitation Science Institute at Daegu University was selected as a subsidiary operator for the Community Integrated Care Visiting Rehabilitation Project, securing a subsidy of 95 million KRW to carry out the project until December.
The care project is conducted through visiting rehabilitation in six areas according to the patient's medical and rehabilitation treatment: speech rehabilitation, art therapy, cognitive rehabilitation, sensory rehabilitation, psychomotor therapy, and exercise rehabilitation.
Starting in 2019 with 20 patients and a total of 200 visiting rehabilitation sessions, a total of 648 rehabilitation sessions have been conducted to date.

Additionally, the Assistive Device Center operated by Daegu University plans to support independent living through consultations for disabled individuals who applied for assistive devices that could not be covered by public benefits.
