[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyun-joo] Former Blue House Senior Secretary for Political Affairs Choi Jae-sung criticized the announcement of the unification between Yoon Seok-yeol, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, and Ahn Cheol-soo, the candidate of the People Party, saying, "Ignorant Yoon Seok-yeol and inadequate Ahn Cheol-soo are trying to form a collusive government," and added, "Candidate Ahn wanted to cut off his own finger after one year."
Earlier, on the 22nd of last month, when the unification had practically fallen through, Candidate Ahn, who visited Ulsan, said, "What will happen to the Republic of Korea if that person (Candidate Yoon) is elected? After just one year, you will want to cut off the finger that voted for that person."
On the afternoon of the 3rd, former Secretary Choi posted on his Facebook, addressing Candidate Ahn, "He said the president should be able to understand bureaucrats, but now he wants to become the prime minister of an incomprehensible president," and claimed, "He said if Candidate Yoon wins, it would be a worse regime change, but now they want to create and share even worse power."
Regarding the unification, former Secretary Choi likened it to "a foreseen breakup, but even though they hate each other so much, they married for money," and said, "The people cannot be deceived. They must run harder and vomit more."
