Kenk? Aerospace Invests in M&J Company Shares
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Kenko Aerospace is accelerating M&A activities in the US space infrastructure market.
Kenko Aerospace announced on the 3rd that it has made an equity investment in M&J, a supplier in the supply chain of United Launch Alliance (ULA), the world's largest launch service provider.
ULA is a space launch service company established in 2005 by merging Boeing and Lockheed's launch vehicle divisions. It has almost exclusively carried out US national space launch missions such as those for NASA. It is the number one company in the US launch service market with annual sales exceeding 1.6 trillion KRW. It has successfully completed 143 US national launch services without failure.
M&J is one of the key suppliers located 5 minutes from ULA. It participates in ULA's main launch vehicle, Atlas V, as well as the next-generation launch vehicle, the Vulcan project.

Starting with the equity investment, Kenko plans to gradually increase its stake in M&J. It aims to expand synergy effects with its existing space business division.
