Simplification of Identity Verification Document Procedures for Passport Issuance
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the 2nd that it will implement a service from the 3rd to verify personal information for passport issuance through 'Public MyData'.
Until now, when issuing a passport, applicants had to prepare identity verification documents themselves or individually check them through a separate civil service system called 'Administrative Information Joint Use'. However, using Public MyData is expected to simplify the procedure.
Public MyData is a system that utilizes various personal administrative information held by public institutions for various public and private services.
