Joint ESG Finance Platform Opens in Financial Sector... Sharing Related Information
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Hwajeong] The five financial associations?the Korea Federation of Banks, Korea Financial Investment Association, Korea Life Insurance Association, Korea Non-Life Insurance Association, and Korea Credit Finance Association?announced on the 25th the launch of the joint ESG finance platform for the financial sector, "ESG Finance Hub," which focuses on sharing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) finance-related information to foster an ESG management environment among domestic financial companies.
The ESG Finance Hub consists of five main menus: Guidelines, Research Materials, ESG News, ESG Activities, and Platform Introduction, with a total of 17 detailed submenus. The ESG Finance Hub serves as a knowledge hub that aggregates ESG finance-related information scattered domestically and internationally, delivering it in a timely and systematic manner. It provides summarized information and links to various documents, and for overseas materials, it offers Korean translations of titles and summaries to enhance accessibility and understanding. Additionally, to systematically classify information and improve user convenience, it categorizes ESG (detailed topics of E, S, G), finance (investment, bonds, etc.), and regional tag information, strengthening search functions such as keyword search. Alongside this, it also provides a communication channel to promote financial companies' ESG activities and share ESG progress information among financial companies.
