Collected Home Shopping Products... LG Uplus Launches 'Han Nune Shopping' Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] LG Uplus announced on the 24th that it has launched the ‘Han-nun-e Shopping’ service, which gathers various products to revolutionize customers’ home shopping viewing experience.
‘Han-nun-e Shopping’ is a Uplus TV (U+tv) exclusive additional service that collects and displays currently broadcasting home shopping products, previously sold products, and products to be sold in the future.
According to a survey conducted by LG Uplus targeting 1,600 U+tv customers aged 20 to 50 who have experience using home shopping, the most inconvenient aspect of watching home shopping was ‘having to keep watching until the necessary information appears (74.1%).’ The main home shopping viewers in their 40s and 50s also pointed out ‘not knowing which channel is broadcasting which product’ as an inconvenience.
In response, LG Uplus introduced ‘Han-nun-e Shopping’ to enhance convenience for TV home shopping users and to support home shopping operators and small businesses selling products through home shopping. U+tv customers can move beyond one-way home shopping viewing and easily check information about the products they want.
U+tv customers can access Han-nun-e Shopping through the menu displayed at the top of the home screen or the menu that appears when changing channels. It is also accessible via the shortcut button installed on the latest remote control. The service page is designed to gather information on products currently being broadcast on home shopping channels, as well as products sold in the past and those scheduled for future sale.
LG Uplus is also conducting an event with Lotte Home Shopping. Until the 20th of next month, customers who share the purchase address of products sold on Han-nun-e Shopping by Lotte Home Shopping (channel 10) or Lotte One TV (channel 36) can receive a 7% overlapping discount coupon through the Lotte Home Shopping app. Coupons are issued daily and can be used when ordering and paying for products sold by Lotte Home Shopping.

They also plan to expand the range of products offered through collaboration with various home shopping operators beyond the current eight companies (12 shopping channels) participating.
