30s Male Arrested for 'Drug Delivery' at Seoul Hotel
Investigation of Voluntary Accompaniment of a Woman in Her 20s
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A man in his 30s who ordered drugs to be delivered to the hotel where he was staying was arrested by the police.
On the 23rd, the Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced that they arrested and are investigating a man in his 30s, Kim, at around 5:40 a.m. at a hotel in Bangi-dong on suspicion of receiving a package believed to contain drugs.
After receiving a tip-off, the police went to the hotel room. When they heard sounds of items being moved inside without the door being opened, they forcibly entered the room and arrested Kim. A woman in her 20s who was with him was taken in for questioning on a voluntary accompaniment basis.
The package Kim received reportedly had no sender or recipient information. The police seized 15 grams of methamphetamine and dozens of syringes from the room.
