Studio Dragon and Video Adaptation Rights Contract
Author Kim Choyeop's novel "The Greenhouse at the End of the Earth" is being adapted into a visual production. Kim's agency, Blossom Creative, recently announced on the 22nd that they signed a video adaptation rights contract with drama production company Studio Dragon. "The Greenhouse at the End of the Earth" is a dystopian novel set in a scenario where a substance called "Dust," which causes death upon even minimal exposure, has spread in the atmosphere. It became a bestseller shortly after publication and has secured publishing contracts in Japan, Taiwan, China, Russia, Indonesia, France, and other countries. Kim is a popular literary figure who won the Korean Full-length Literature Award for "Becoming a Cyborg" and the Young Writers' Award for "Cognitive Space." Her representative works include "The Greenhouse at the End of the Earth," "Mremosa," "Planet Language Bookstore," "The World I Just Left," and "If We Cannot Travel at the Speed of Light." Studio Dragon, which is pushing forward with the first visual adaptation, is a subsidiary of CJ ENM. They have produced several popular dramas such as "Crash Landing on You," "Sweet Home," and "Vincenzo."
