Busan 1 Mandeok and Daeti Tunnel, Traffic Control for Tunnel Lighting Installation and Replacement Work
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] The Busan City Construction Safety Testing Office announced that from the 23rd to the 25th, nighttime traffic control will be conducted in the Je1 Mandeok Tunnel and Daeti Tunnel for tunnel lighting installation and replacement of faulty lights.
The traffic control will be carried out during late-night hours from 11 PM on the day of control to 5 AM the next day to minimize congestion during commuting hours.
The control schedule and targets are ▲ on the 23rd, all lanes of both directions in Je1 Mandeok Tunnel ▲ on the 24th, one lane of the upbound side (Seodaesin-dong → Goejeong-dong) in Daeti Tunnel ▲ on the 25th, one lane of the downbound side (Goejeong-dong → Seodaesin-dong).
During the control period, citizens using the tunnels should follow the guidance of traffic signal personnel to use detour roads or drive slowly.
This lighting facility maintenance work is being carried out to provide tunnel users with a pleasant and safe passage environment and to prevent safety accidents, and the construction is undertaken by Dongseon ENG Co., Ltd.
