Gyeonggi-do Selects 100 Students for University Public Dormitory 'Songpa Haksa' Admission
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] 'Gyeonggi-do Songpa Dormitory,' a public dormitory for university students residing in Gyeonggi-do, has completed the selection of residents for this year and will begin move-in from the 26th of this month.
The province previously conducted an application recruitment last month and selected a total of 100 students, including 70 male students and 30 female students, based on the selection criteria.
Additionally, the province selected 30 waiting applicants to be admitted sequentially in case of vacancies in the future.
Residents will receive support for various programs at Gyeonggi-do Songpa Dormitory, including meals, residential life, employment assistance, and character development. Gyeonggi-do Songpa Dormitory is located in Songpa-gu, Seoul, as part of a cooperative project between Gyeonggi-do and the Ministry of National Defense.

Choi Byung-gil, Director of the Education Cooperation Division of the province, stated, "Gyeonggi-do Songpa Dormitory is a facility operated to provide convenience and reduce housing burdens so that university students from Gyeonggi-do can study stably," adding, "We will do our best to provide a safe and happy living environment for university students and to nurture local talent."
