[Breaking] Yoon Seok-yeol "Will consider poll-based unification, but there are also regrets"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] On the 13th, Yoon Seok-yeol, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, responded to Ahn Cheol-soo, the candidate of the People’s Party, who proposed candidate unification through a 'national primary opinion poll method,' saying, "I will consider it, but there are also some regrets."
After meeting with former U.S. Vice President Mike Pence at a hotel in Songpa-gu, Seoul, Yoon told reporters, "I positively evaluate the proposal made by Candidate Ahn in the spirit of regime change," adding this comment.
When asked what the regrets were regarding the proposal for unification through the opinion poll method, he said, "I will not provide a detailed answer."
