The Dongmyung Industry-Academia Awards is an event that recognizes faculty, staff, and businesspeople who have contributed to establishing and revitalizing an organic university-industry cooperation system.
In the faculty category, the grand prize and a cash award of 2 million KRW were awarded to Professor Kim Kyung-mi of the Counseling Psychology Department and Professor Shin Seung-su of the Software Convergence Security Department.
The excellence award and a cash prize of 500,000 KRW were given to Professor Ahn Tae-young of the International Logistics Department, Professor Jung Mi-young of the Media Communication Department, and Professor Han Eun-jung of the Advertising and Public Relations Department.
In the staff category, the grand prize and a cash award of 3 million KRW went to Jung Kyu-young, Director of the Regional Community Collaboration Center.
The highest award and a cash prize of 2 million KRW were given to staff members Park Yoon-jung of the Performance Management Team and Yoo Jin-sung of the R&BD Center, while the excellence award and 1.5 million KRW were awarded to Ha Hye-young of the Startup Education Center.
Six staff members, including Jeon Jin-soo of the Shared Equipment Center, received encouragement awards.
Jung Kyu-young, Director of the Regional Community Collaboration Center, was recognized for his contributions to solving regional community issues and advancing university-industry cooperation through activities such as the Nam-gu Office and Nam-gu Urban Regeneration New Deal Project and the Advocacy Large Family Project.
