Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry Holds Online Briefing on Utilizing the 'RCEP Agreement'

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Gyeongnam FTA Utilization Support Center announced on the 7th that it will hold an online briefing session on the 11th to enhance the ability of local export companies to utilize the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).
In this briefing session, Kim Seong-yeol, an officer from the Busan Main Customs Office, will focus on explaining the rules of origin determination criteria and tariff benefits under the RCEP agreement, which came into effect on the 1st.
RCEP is the world's largest free trade agreement involving a total of 15 countries (10 ASEAN countries, Korea, China, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand), accounting for one-third of the global economy, and it is the first free trade agreement concluded with Japan.
