According to the Bank of Korea on the 28th, during the Lunar New Year holiday, the headquarters' foreign exchange operations team and overseas offices located in major financial centers (New York, London, Frankfurt, Tokyo) will monitor the international financial market and Korea-related indicators 24 hours a day.
Considering external uncertainties, the Bank of Korea plans to strengthen monitoring of international financial market trends during this Lunar New Year holiday.
At 8 a.m. on the 3rd of next month, a situation review meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Deputy Governor Lee Seung-heon to comprehensively discuss the international financial market situation and the impact on the domestic financial and foreign exchange markets.
