[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] BNK Busan Bank announced on the 27th that it will hold the 'Ma!i MuTech' event until the 28th of next month to target the MZ generation (born between 1980 and 2000) in collaboration with Musicow, a music copyright participation claim trading platform.
The event name Ma!i MuTech is a combination of Busan Bank's Ma!i Account, music, and financial technology. Customers who have a Ma!i Account and sign up as new members on Musicow through the mobile banking event page can receive 10,000 Musicow cash.
Participation in the event is only possible through Busan Bank's mobile banking application. Participants can use the cash provided by Musicow to purchase participation claims for the copyrights of their preferred music, allowing them to receive monthly royalties generated whenever the music is streamed and used.
Kim Yang-wook, head of Busan Bank's Untact Sales Department, said, "This event was held to activate non-face-to-face channels in line with the new financial style of the MZ generation," adding, "We will continue to promote various events and marketing by partnering with products and industries preferred by the MZ generation."
