On the 26th, Pohang City signed a business agreement for the ‘world's first ESG startup cluster creation’ with startup accelerator SparkLabs, Handong University, and the UNAI Korea Council.
Through this business agreement, the plan is to attract domestic and international ESG-related startup companies, establish regional funds, and foster startups to develop a global-level ESG startup city.
SparkLabs stated that Pohang is evaluated as the optimal location for ESG startups due to its geographical conditions, symbolism, resources, and various other advantages.
