BC Card Launches 'Lost Ark' Exclusive PLCC Issuance
10% Billing Discount on Game Money Recharge
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] BC Card announced on the 26th that it has started issuing a private label credit card (PLCC) dedicated to the domestic representative MMORPG 'Lost Ark' in collaboration with Smilegate RPG.
The Lost Ark card is released in a total of 8 designs featuring popular in-game characters preferred by gamers, such as 'Mokoko' and 'Wei', and is equipped with benefits that can be enjoyed seamlessly not only in the game but also in real life.
First, when charging Royal Crystals, the game currency needed to purchase various paid products and items in Lost Ark, with this card, a 10% billing discount benefit (up to 25,000 KRW per month) is provided.
Also, in line with recent customer trends that prefer unconditional discounts, BC Card offers a basic 0.5% billing discount on payment amounts at both domestic and overseas merchants without any previous month spending conditions. For domestic online merchants, a 1.5% billing discount benefit is given.
Meanwhile, the two companies will hold various events for customers who issue the Lost Ark card. First, the first 5,000 customers who receive the Lost Ark card will be given limited edition goods inspired by the card-type item within the Lost Ark game. Customers who miss the first-come-first-served offer will receive a 100% cashback on the annual fee.
Additionally, customers who have no BC Baro Card payment history in the past six months from the issuance start date and charge a cumulative amount of 50,000 KRW or more in Royal Crystals with the Lost Ark card by February 28 will receive a 50,000 KRW cashback benefit. Customers who charge a cumulative amount of 100,000 KRW or more will be provided with a coupon to receive an exclusive item package.
An event commemorating the launch of the Lost Ark card will also be held within the game. Until March 9, by completing quests assigned by NPCs in a separately implemented event space in the game, various rewards such as special items will be provided. Any user can participate regardless of whether they have issued the Lost Ark card.
