Gwangju Main Customs Office Holds 'Export Companies RCEP Utilization Online Briefing'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Main Customs and Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry will hold an 'RCEP Utilization Online Briefing Session' for local export companies starting from the 27th, ahead of the enforcement of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership.
This briefing session will be jointly hosted by Gwangju Main Customs and Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry and will be conducted online (via ZOOM) in accordance with the government's quarantine policies.
RCEP is the world's largest Mega-FTA involving 15 countries including the 10 ASEAN countries, China, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. In particular, as it is the first FTA concluded with Japan, it is expected to be very helpful for companies exporting to Japan.
This briefing session will provide guidance on the overview and current status of RCEP, how small and medium-sized enterprises can utilize RCEP, procedures for issuing certificates of origin, and precautions. Priority RCEP utilization consulting will also be provided to companies attending the briefing session.
