CU, Keeping Coupon Service Surpasses 5 Million Cumulative Uses

The Keeping Coupon service is a mobile product storage service where customers can save coupons in the membership application (app) Pocket CU instead of immediately receiving promotional giveaway products, and later redeem them for the purchased products at any store nationwide at their preferred time.
The number of members who issued CU's Keeping Coupons increased by 208% compared to the same period last year as of this month, and 96% of all stores issued at least one Keeping Coupon last year. By age group, people in their 20s accounted for 43%, those in their 30s 28%, making the 20s and 30s generation 71% of total users. This was followed by teenagers at 14%, people in their 40s at 9%, 50s at 5%, and 60 and older at 1%.
Since the implementation of the Keeping Coupon service, sales of CU's promotional giveaway products have increased by about 14% compared to before. In particular, 8 out of 10 non-member customers who received coupons via phone number newly registered for Pocket CU within a month to use the Keeping Coupon, showing a very high customer inflow effect.
