Why Geumcheon-gu Siheung 5-dong Eunhaengnamu Mart Has Donated Over 1,000 Bags of Rice for 14 Years?

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yuseong Hoon) announced that Eunhaengnamu Mart (CEO Noh Subong) donated 1,300 bags of white rice (10kg) to the Siheung 5-dong Community Service Center for low-income residents in the area.
The donation ceremony took place at 8 a.m. on January 21 at the Siheung 5-dong Community Service Center.
The donations from Eunhaengnamu Mart, which began in 2009, have continued for 14 years to date, providing over 1,000 bags of rice annually to Siheung 5-dong and Siheung 2-dong.
Noh Subong, CEO of Eunhaengnamu Mart, said, “Since our success is thanks to our customers, we feel a social responsibility,” and added, “We will continue to make donations in the future.”
