During this campaign, participants carried banners encouraging voluntary preemptive testing and marched through the streets. They distributed promotional materials to traditional market merchants and residents and conducted publicity activities to prevent safety accidents during the holiday period.
Considering the recent spread of the Omicron variant virus, they disseminated quarantine rules for the holiday period, such as refraining from travel and outings and voluntary preemptive testing.
Yeongyang-gun designated January 29 to February 2 as the special quarantine period for the Lunar New Year holiday. They will inspect compliance with quarantine rules targeting multi-use facilities and vulnerable facilities. Also, during this period, the public health center's screening clinic will operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
