TIPA-KISTI Join Hands to Support Technology Innovation for Small and Medium Enterprises

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] The Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA) and the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the 20th at TIPA's Sejong headquarters. This strategic cooperation between TIPA, a specialized agency supporting technological innovation for SMEs, and KISTI, a leading national research institute for science and technology knowledge information, aims to effectively support technological innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises.
TIPA is currently building an intelligent smart evaluation system by utilizing accumulated data supporting technological innovation for SMEs and is establishing a technology roadmap for SMEs. KISTI is operating various technology and market analysis systems such as the "Data-based Technology Commercialization Support Platform (Smart K2C)" and the "Intelligent Industry and Market Analysis System (K-MAPs)" by leveraging artificial intelligence and big data processing technologies.
TIPA and KISTI plan to share experiences and collaborate in areas including future promising product and technology analysis, SME data analysis, and the development of intelligent commercialization analysis and prediction models. They also agreed to establish a cooperative system for promoting major projects, collaborative activities, and discovering new business opportunities.
