Fire at Hyundai Card Headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul... No Casualties Reported
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] At around 8:41 a.m. on the 20th, smoke from a fire broke out at the Hyundai Card headquarters building in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, causing all employees to evacuate.
According to the fire authorities, the fire started in the sewage treatment motor and wiring in the underground 5th floor parking lot of Hyundai Capital Building 1, and was fully extinguished around 9:50 a.m.
Employees working in the building evacuated to the first-floor lobby due to the fire, and fortunately, no casualties were reported.
