View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] SK Shieldus (CEO Park Jin-hyo) announced on the 19th that Shim Ki-hoon, a patrol officer at ADT Caps Daejeon branch, received a commendation from the Daejeon Police Agency Chief for his merit in apprehending a wanted fugitive with multiple criminal records including sex crimes, theft, and fraud after a physical struggle.
In the early morning of the 15th, around 4 a.m., Officer Shim spotted a man selecting a luxury imported car and committing theft in an apartment complex under the jurisdiction of Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, through CCTV and immediately dispatched to the scene.
Officer Shim caught the man who was rifling through the vehicle and engaged in a scuffle before reporting to the police. When the detained man attempted to escape, Shim chased and subdued him, handing him over to the police.

The thief handed over to the police was already wanted for sex crimes, theft, and fraud. The Daejeon Police Agency awarded a commendation on the 18th in recognition of Officer Shim's decisive role in preventing further crimes.
