Wild Boars, Even You Want to Come? ... Uyeha Wildlife Exclusion Fence Installation Support in Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongnam
Up to 2 Million KRW per Farm, 40% Farm Co-payment
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is providing support for the installation costs of damage prevention facilities for harmful wild animals to prevent crop damage caused by wild animals and to increase farm income.
To prevent damage from wild animals such as wild boars and water deer, up to 2 million KRW per farm will be provided for the installation costs of electric fences and wire fences. However, 40% of the project cost must be borne by the target farms.
Last year, the county supported 34 farms with 64 million KRW through the wild animal damage prevention facility installation cost support project, and plans to provide the same amount this year as well.
Agricultural or forestry workers who have their residence and farmland in Uiryeong-gun can apply, with priority given to farms that have experienced damage from harmful wild animals, farms not selected in the previous year, and farms with large project volumes.
